What's New In Fuuko's World?

MARCH 8, 2002 Konnichi-wa! I know it's a bit late for me to great you all a Happy New Year, but since this is the first update for the year 2002 then heck I'll do so!!! Happy New 2002 to all!!!! Fuuko no Miko apologizes for the late, late update. It's just that she had a lot of things going on in her life. I was on leave for a month and I had to take a *life-or-death* exam so you must forgive me for not updating. Plus, Animen, our Bishounen website is presently undergoing a makeover so I had to fix that as the Raptor couldn't handle it alone. So anyway, what do we have in store for you?

Eight new and spanking stories in the FANFIC SECTION from our dear wonderful contributors. Believe me when I say YOU GUYS RULE!!! YOU ABSOLUTELY DO!!! Do-be-do-da-da!!!

The LINKS section has also pretty much been weeded. Yeah pretty much, but not totally I suppose. It's hard to surf when your modem is only 33.6k and your server is ancient.

And for my declaration of luv-for-the-month (last time it was Robbie Williams, but this doesn't mean I luv him less. I still do!!!), I LUV THEE LEGOLAS GREENLEAF!!!! Yeah, I don't give a hoot what others say. He is MAJOR KAWAII!!! I took one look at him at Lord of The Rings and fell over and over and over. Those blonde locks AAAAARGHHHH!!! Gomen, I am a *sucker* for blondes (enumerates in head...Duff McKagan of GnR, Heath Ledger of A Knight's Tale, Nakago of Fushigi Yuugi, Zechs Marquise of Gundam Wing, etc.,)

Then Hopez of Lifez gives us a Mikagami one. Jin presents her Tokiya-Fuuko starrer Isolation while Miyuki sends a Neon-Kurei songfic. Libra-gurl puts up her Fuuko-Tokiya spy series and Varon's *beautiful* (yeah I dig this one!) "love affair." Finally Fuuko no miko (now who would that be, I wonder ^.^?) continues her second installment of a Mikagami-Fuuko one with two more chapters! Are you ready to read? then scroll down and enjoy!!! DECEMBER 28, 2001 Konbanwa! A Happy, Happy Holiday to One and All!!! I hope everybody's enjoying the *great* holiday season. And here's wishing all a FABULOUS NEW YEAR ahead of us! I know 2001 has been very trying for us (especially to the families of the victims of the WTC tragedy and ME *_*...but then why bother the world with my problems when the rest of us have a whollatta worries on our heads?). So let's all look forward to something bigger and brighter in the coming year! This update also marks a milestone for me, as The Fuuko Kirisawa Shrine has just celebrated its SECOND YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!! WOOHOO! I can't believe this site has lasted that long. This page has been on the net since December 6, 1999 and still going strong. And *I do* look forward to another anniversary...so long as Tripod they doesn't remove their free webhosting servicev*.*. Whilst I was thinking of a spectacular anniversary update....present circumstances prevent me from doing so ^^;;;; so much as I wanted one, I just had to put up with a small, simple update for today. Hopefully, should time permit, I'll do something more next time. Now, on to the updates!!!

DECEMBER 28, 2001 Happy Happy Holidays to One and All!!! Thank you for gracing my sitey, *coughcoughcough*. For today, we have a total of NINE new ficcies! And not all of them could be found at fanfiction.net ^^. Some of them are actually found *only here* (or so they tell me). And I still wish to express my gratitude to my *WONDERFUL* co-writers who do send in their works of art. ARIGATOU GOZAIMASE! Your generosity is much, much appreciated. Okay! We have a wholelotta Fuuko-Tokiya up for today. One is by Zephyr, a dreamstate of sorts. Then two more from another ToFu supporter, Nadirah, with a touch of the melodramatic! Cherie-san continues her ToFu saga Rebel Heart, while Lynn-chan (yes, *the* Lynn-chan of LKC!!! Proud to host ya honey!) dazzles with her fridgeboy birthday fic. The real and final version of Moonstar's work , My Friends is up and Jejearmani gives us a delightfully hilarious fairy tale parody. Miyuki-chan entertains with her works on the ensui wielder and lastly, a little fic from me ^^ which I dedicate to my dear friend TRT. This is going to sound a bit funny, but when I last looked at the updates page, I *also* updated at the same day, November 1, last year. So, am I like, a Halloween child? Yeah I suppose. Whatever. So neways, here I am with another update for each and all. I'd done this sooner, but, as my common excuse, real life keeps getting in the way. ^_^. I changed the font from Americana to Verdana because not too many people have that certain font. I also changed my e-mail address since my two other accounts on Angelfire are *flooded* with offers and all that sh** I signed up for just to get some neopoints (NEOPETS RULES!!!). And before I go on, I'd like to apologize to those visitors who wrote to me whom I have failed to answer...especially during the early part of this year whence I have been extremely busy ^^;;;. Ohaiyo! Many, many thanks to the wonderful contributors who contributed to this month's ficcies! They're all lovely contributions! Miki-chan gives us two songfics and an adventure in America for our lovely wind goddess, then we get an early yuletide offering from Wind Rider, and then a heart-wrenching AU fic fom Lady Archica. A funny combo of fairy tales from JadOo, a dramatic Neon-Kurei fic from Yuyu, and three more chapters of Tokiya's Path of Revenge from Gene. A couple more entries include a Tokiya-Fuuko from Cherie, a Raiha-Fuuko from ChibiRaiha, a Tokiya-Fuuko from Peggy, the full version of Mooonstar's Friends and a lovely Recca-Fuuko POV from Iris. I'm writing one but I dunno if it will be included here as of this time. Now, get down there and get reading! Feedback is much appreciated by our writers ^_^!!!

SEPTEMBER 9, 2001 Hweee! Look *who's back*...Fuuko no Miko is back to kick some serious butt! Contrary to popular beliefs that I'm dead in the water....me is most certainly not!!! Yahoo! Yer all gonna hear A HUMUNGOUS APOLOGY FROM ME right now, dearest visitors for taking *forever* to update. I know...I know...*_*. Real life gets in the way for the most part. But as you can see...not anymore!!! I did a MAJOR, and I do mean major revamp. As you can see, we now come in frames!!! Yeah, I know...like some browsers do not suport frames, sadly. But I just had to do something with the long upload time. I know for a fact that my site is rather graphic intensive.
So what is new? EVERYTHING IS....welll...most everything that is. I've pretty much re-written ALL, and I do mean all of the pages (though mostly, the changes have been minor details). I've updated the Hokage profiles, and you 'll find little facts about our lovable ninjas at the end of each profile. Facts, which are more manga-based. And since I do read the manga now, I have tied up the loose ends in the series, the madougus, the fights, the relationships and all that. So it's basically a full revamp. Plus I've changed a fair number of images, fixed the goddang galleries and updated the links since I aint the only one who's been moving around. More members have been added to the Fan Club, more fics in the Fanfic Section, more links in the links section, more icons, more backgrounds, more cursors, and more piccies (Ey! I have fifteen galleries of nothing but Fuuko-san!!! ^.^).
On a sadder note, I have decided to close both Days of Thunder (Raiha's Shrine) and Fuuko and Raiha: A Flame of Recca Romance. It's sad....but I had little choice in the matter. My farewell note can be read here... SEPTEMBER 2, 2001 I'd like, first of all, to apologize *_* for my late updates. As I've said time and again, real life got in the way. I only have a few new fics for today. Promise I'll do better next month. Gomen! I have in line for you today a songifc by Saturn (Fuuko-Tokiya-Raiha), *two* nc-17 fics by Tin Mandigma and Kat, both of which are Fuuko & Tokiya ^.^, a Christmas fic by Wind Rider, 3 new fics by Moonstar- the sixth installment to It Was You, a Recca-Yanagi songfic and one Tokiya POV. A non-Recca fic from Gene's friend Natsumi (no, not that Natsumi, another one!), YOU'RE UNDER ARREST, one of my old written works, The Song of Kurei (in poetry, no less!). If you will notice, I have changed the layout of this section and have arranged the authors *much to my pain and consternation* alphabetically. I've pretty much fixed all the broken links as well. Okay. Have a good time reading! More fics next time around!!! For any contributions, you know who to hit where! JUNE 12, 2001 First of all, I'd like to issue a HUGE apology to everyone for not updating for the *longest* time. Much as I would have loved to, real life keeps getting in the way *sigh* T_T. I've been busy at work hence not having time for my extracurricular activities. Add to that this recent screw-up at Tripod when a bug was able to infiltrate their files and eat up most of the sites. Whilst I was thinking of *moving* for the upteenth time, I thought otherwise because it's such a tiring task *_*. Anyways, I *still* have more stuff up for updates like edited pics sent by friends and people who want to join the club, but unfortunately, I haven't got much time so I'll just put them up next time, GOMEN!!!! So enough of the complaints already and I'll be showing you new stuff at the shrine:

April 22, 2001 Ahou! Ohaiyo minna-san! I have whopping amount of ficcies for today. Talk about not updating (not by choice, though). I guess everyone is just as busy as I am, thus the sequels to previous fics are not yet in ^.^. In any case, I hope you enjoy this updates' offerings. What do we have here? Uhm, Kat (our ever wonderful storyteller cum artist) sends another Mokouren-Mikoto poem, plus the final installments of the sugoi whimsical Adventures of My Tutor n Me. Then Nefer-san donates more cool fics for your enjoyment in both lyric and prose (Will the real Nefer Segal please Stand Up ^_^?). Knanaki sends us her very first fic, another Fuuko-Tokiya starrer (anou, they're a popular duo, what can I do *_*). Knucklear Knuckles dishes out a Yanagi one, and a Hokage adventure. Caetla sends in another romantic Tokiya-Fuuko masterpiece, while Chichiri no Miko donates a Fuuko-Raiha shortstarrer. Helios Girl aka Recca Girl tickles us with a Recca-Yanagi WAFF. Saturn does one over with a Fuu-Rai-Tok songfic. The third installment to Katanashi's Hachiryu ficcy is up and another Bottou-chan whopper on the way! And the second installment to my strangely plotted fic is up. Gomen if I'm a bit slow on writing the story. While I have the whole plot written in my neurons, I do not have the luxury of time to transfer it to the PC *_*. *SIgh*. Anyways, do enjoy what we have to offer!
