Christmas is coming and many people are busying getting presents for friends, family & love ones. Tsujimoto Natsumi is also doing the same.

“ My first Christmas with Shouji….”Thinking of that, she continues her knitting.

She had been knitting a scarf for her boyfriend, Toukairin Shouji, for more than a month.
 Kobayakawa Miyuki, her best friend & partner, had taught her how to knit.

“ Miyuki is right; if I had insisted on knitting a vest for him, I may not be able to finish it…”

Miyuki had taught her how to knit after she had told Miyuki that she wants to give Shouji something special for their first Christmas together. Knowing her partner well, Miyuki taught Natsumi something simple; She taught Natsumi how to knit a scarf.

 “EEERRRR!!! Wrong again!” Due to her personality, she is bad at doing stuff that are sort of feminine, that why she had been knitting for more than a month but still only a three-quarter done.

Feeling frustrated, for the umpteen times, she suddenly yell” KUSO! This is too hard for me! I’m not going to do it anymore!!!” Saying that, she throws the scarf on her bed, wanting to give up.
But when she look at the scarf again, she feels bad for giving up after so much hard work.

“I can’t give up. I wanted to give him something special. Something that I made myself, something that represent my feelings for him..…”

With a smile on her face, she picks up the scarf & continue knitting.

The eve of Christmas finally arrived. Natsumi is so excited about the date that she becomes quite unusual; She woke up extra early & suddenly becomes very efficient at work. Anyone that is familiar with Natsumi knows that she is always a slacker, lazing around in the office all the time. Not only that, she is also always late for work. Seeing her strange behavior, everyone in the station are wondering whatever today will snow.

Finally at 5 p.m., she happily rushes off home to prepare herself for the date. At about 7 p.m., Shouji arrived at her apartment, where she share with Miyuki, to pick her up for the date.

After a romantic candlelight dinner at a western restaurant in a hotel, they take a walk at a park.
The park was where Shouji had brought Natsumi to before, where they had spent a night together, where they had a great time, where she first time won him in arm-wrestling, where he had bid her good-bye before he went to the Himalayas… All those bittersweet memories sting her heart causing her to hold on to his hand more tightly. Sensing that, Shouji looks at her gently, worry is written all over his handsome face.

“Are you alright? Is it too cold?” he ask her softly. She nods her head & reply” Daijoubu. I’m not cold. I just want to make sure you are here, you won’t go anywhere.”

Hearing that, he feels a tug at his heart. Then, still looking at her, he suggests ”let’s take a rest, ok.”Natsumi nods her head in reply and is lead to the nearest bench.

After sitting down, Shouji takes out a small box.

“Natsumi…here…a Christmas present for you…hope you like it…”

Accepting the box, Natsumi open it & finds a white gold necklace with a heart-shaped pendant.

“Let me help you put it on… ”  Saying that, he help Natsumi put on the necklace.
“Arigatou…. Shouji… &…. Here’s mine…. Hope you like it too…”

She then takes a nicely- wrapped gift out and hands it to him. After unwrapping it carefully, he sees a yellow scarf. Closer inspections reveal that the handcraft of the scarf is rough but he can sense much hard work & love was put in knitting this scarf.

“Hmm…I knit it myself…I know it is not well made…& maybe I should’ve bought one instead….” feeling nervous, she starts blabbering.

Suddenly, Toukairin pull her in for a hug. She is surprised but slowly ease into his embrace.
His embrace is strong but gentle. Feeling warm, she snuggles even deeper into his embrace.

“Arigatou for the wonderful scarf…. I love it…”he whisper softly into her ear.
“…Glad that you like it…I’ll put it on for you…”she whispers back. Then, she pushes him slightly away & helps him with the scarf. As she is doing that, she can feel his eyes gazing intensely at her. This causes her to blush.

Seeing her pinkish cheeks, Shouji smile & tighten his grip on her body, still staring fondly at her. Finally finishes her task, Natsumi looks up & meets his affectionate gaze. She is again pull into his warm embrace.

“Shouji…” she mumbles in comfort of the embrace.

“Natsumi…Aishiteru…” saying that, Shouji bends his head down. His lip gently & softly caresses Natsumi’s. Then, pulling her closer to himself, Shouji draws Natsumi into a long, enchanted kiss. The tender touch creates a sensation in Natsumi that causes her not to be able to think of anything anymore but only to let herself lost in this passionate kiss.

Kissing under the moonless sky in a cold winter Christmas season, the pair of young koibito is oblivious of something unusual, happening around them; tiny white snowflakes starts to falls from the dark sky, as if Sakura falls from a rows of Sakura trees in spring. In this cold night, the snowflakes seem to represent blessing descending from heaven that give people warmth during this special Christmas season.

Sumimase (sorry) for all the mistake I made, language, gammar & whatever…Since I’m sort of a romantic freak & I like “You’re Under Arrest!” this anime a lot, so I Decided to write this fic. As for why I cjoose this 2 characters, is b’cos I LOVES BOTH OF THEM VERY MUCH, esp, Toukairin Shouji…LOVES HIMM…heeeee….oyah…for your info, they are a koibito( couple)…so use them lor….heee.
