"BAKA!"

It was Tokiya, one of the Hokage members and one of Recca's closest but most snobbish friends.

"Hey, what's up Tokiya?" Recca replied.

"Hey there baka! Do you happen to know that today's Fuuko's birthday!"

"Shit! You're right, I didn't even get to greet her!"

"So did I, Recca even if I am more superior than you," Tokiya blurted out.

"Recca, I've got an idea, so get Kaoru and the others and meet me back here in another hour, get it?"

"Right!"

Quickly as he spoke, Recca was on his way to Kurei's palace. He went to Kurei, so that he can talk to Raiha.
Surprised to hear about that, he jumped to the supermarket and sped to Domon's house to break the news. Recca still in Kurei's palace still crawled through every part of it just to find Kaoru. Suddenly somebody just
threw a piece of rock on the back of his head.

"Ow! Kaoru! Come out now!"

Out of nowhere Kaoru just popped out in front of his face. "Boo!"
 
"Yikes!, you better stop doing that or I'm gonna pop you in the head." Recca screeched

"Right, so what are you here for?" Kaoru asked, "Another mission, another enemy trying to destroy us all and get hime? And you can't do it without me right?"

"No! No! And No!" Recca replied. "Its Fuuko's birthday!"

"Hey, I didn't know that." said Kaoru

"I didn't know either, so we gotta meet back with Tokiya in his place."

"What's Tokiya going to do?"

"It's his idea Kaoru." Recca answered.

After an hour, Recca came back with Kaoru, Domon, Raiha, Yanagi and Kurei. "So Tokiya, what's our game plan?"

"Well we could just give a Surprise party at my place since I own my place, we have the place all to ourselves."

"All right!" everyone cheered.

"But you guys all have to chip in" Tokiya said as he gave a big smile.

"What! How much!?" Domon complained.

"Well, I could just send you guys the bill, deal?"

"Deal." Domon replied. "Yanagi, you girls get the deco and we guys get the food."

"Right" Yanagi said.

The guys walked into the different food shops and supermarkets, and got almost everything they could carry.
 
"HAHA! Tonight I'm gonna eat till I can't breathe anymore!" Domon laughed out.

"Yeah maybe that's why you're so dumb, you're heads full of food instead of brains you baka." Kaoru chuckled.
 
"Shut up Gaki, or your gonna get yours." Domon showing his fist on Kaoru's face.

"Oh yeah. Let's do it then." Kaoru just jumped on Domon's head and jumped from head to head.

"Come back here you brat!" As Domon ran after him.

Tokiya and Recca just watched as the two just ran all around town.
 
"They never grow up, don't they?" Recca asked with an enormous sweatdrop on his head

"Likewise." As Tokiya replied. "So much for that, lets get back to my place." He suggested.

In her home, Fuuko just woke up from her sleep and crept towards Ganko's room. To her surprise, nobody was there,"Where'd she go?"

Closing the door she went back to her room.

"Of all the times I needed to talk to someone, well, I'll just look for her later."

So she took a shower and opened her closet. "What should I wear for my Birthday? Surely something that could attract him. Hmm, he always liked Rice and flowers! I hope he didn't forget            about my birthday.?"

So Fuuko wore the Shirt and her shorts and hopped down to shop. At the mall the girls were shopping for the things they needed and of course a present for Fuuko.

"Yanagi, you're Fuuko's best friend, do you think she likes this certain someone?" Neon asked.
 
"Not that I know anyone, she'd like but..." Yanagi answered.

"Kurei is out of the picture, Recca belongs to you, Domon has a crush on her but she doesn't like him, Kaoru, hmm... he's too young, Raiha umm... she busted him. Huh? What about Tokiya?" Neon babbled.

"You're right, maybe its him!" Yanagi said.

Just as they were walking towards the street where Tokiya's house is near, "Hey guys, wait up!" Fuuko shouted.

"Neon what are we going to do?" Yanagi asked.

"What else...run!, we'll meet back at Tokiya's house." So the three split up and hid out of Fuuko's sight.

"Where'd those guys go, oh well I'll think I'd go see Tokiya and the others."

At the same time Tokiya, with Recca just came walking back into the street were Fuuko was.

"Recca, do you think those bakas Would be back before the party?"

"Yeah, if Domon's not caught by the Truant officer."

As they both laughed while carrying the things they bought. "Recca, do you think Fuuko has a boyfriend?"

"No, why are you asking me this?" Recca asked back atTokiya with a big smile on his face.

"Nothing I just..." Tokiya replied.

"Aha! so that's why you remembered her birthday! You're always thinking about her, aren't you?! You also softened up because of her,ne, ne?!" Recca teased as they just walked by past Fuuko.

"Hey you baka wasn't that Fuuko?" Tokiya whispered.

"Yeah, so?" Recca asked

"So run you gaki!" They both sped away as Fuuko turned her back to look, they were gone already.

"I thought I just heard my Tokiya talking about...OOPS, did I just say that?" Fuuko blushed as red as a fire engine, still thinking about Tokiya, "He's so cute, and intelligent and, and so skilled...he's too perfect", as she sighed and daydreamed some more, "I gotta know what's going on, and. . . no ones greeted me yet, not even Yanagi, why were they all avoiding me?" asked Fuuko as she drifted away still thinking about what's been happening.

Back at Tokiya's House, the rest of the gang just got back from getting the things they needed for the party.
"Guys I think Fuuko's on to us!" Recca said.

"So lets get ready!" Yanagi replied.

"But how would she know where to go?" Neon asked.

"Don't think about it, Tokiya'll think of something,right?" as Domon pulled Tokiya's ponytail.

"Right! BUT NEVER TOUCH MY HAIR AGAIN YOU IMBECILE!" he replied and sent Domon zooming like a firecracker.

So the boys did most of the decorating, and the girls, most of the food preparations.
 
"Whew, that was long enough, Tokiya, you go get Fuuko and we'll get cleaned up." Recca said as he shoved Tokiya out of his own house.

"Hmmm . . . now what am I gonna do now? That Baka just shoved me off my own house" Tokiya thought.

Out of nowhere Fuuko slided down from megami-knows-where and slid down onto Tokiya's arms.

The two, first stared at each other for a few seconds, Fuuko's arm around Tokiya's smooth neck while his arms where under her back and knees, almost mesmerized just by falling on each others gaze.
 
"Uh . . . sorry, had a little problem with my posture today." Fuuko blurted out.

"It's okay Fuuko, its a good thing I was passing by."

As he put her down gently,"Ow!, my ankle!" she cried in pain.

"Its okay Fuuko, here, I'll patch it up for you." as Tokiya slid his hands on Fuuko's slender leg, trying to massage her ankle, suddenly it began to rain, "Good grief! Good thing we're near
           my house."
Tokiya said as he once again carried her to his house gently like a newly-wed groom carrying his wife.

The gang, peering out of the window, "Oh! Look at those two mushing it up!" as Neon was watching intently.

"I knew it! Tokiya has been changing coz of this little thing he has for Fuuko" Recca snapping his fingers.
 
"Uh . . . guys , get ready," as Ganko closed the lights and hid herself out of sight.

As Fuuko opened the door, (She was still in Tokiya's arms.) "Surprise!!!" Fuuko was so shocked that she almost fell flaton the floor. Everyone came out huddled around Fuuko and Tokiya.
 
"Guys, I thought . . . you forgot about it." Fuuko replied with a smile on her face.

"Well we could've but, the guy holding you now, just told us about it, he got the idea of giving a party for you, so here we are and ready to eat as soon as you get down from there."Recca replied.

Tokiya was already giving him signals to stop.

"So, what're we waiting for, let's eat!" Fuuko shouted.

Tokiya lowered down Fuuko gently and assisted her a little in walking. Before walking into the dining room where everyone was except the young couple, the silver haired swordsman and the adorable Fuuko.

While they were out of sight Fuuko pulled Tokiya by the hand, into the hall...

"Tokiya . . . thanks, for helping me awhile ago . . . remembering my birthday."and she drew closer and gave him a quick peck on the lips and then she walked in to the dining room, leaving the surprised Tokiya awestruck and motionless. Fuuko looked like nothing happened, but was already in deep regret, in hoping she should have made the kiss more passionate and long.

"Dammit! That was my chance but I blew it!" she whispered.

"Done what, Fuuko?" Neon asked.

"OH...nothing." Fuuko replied.

"Don't you hide it away from me girl, I know what you think aboutTokiya . . ." Neon whispered.
 
"Shhh!, not so loud, Neon!" she said. Then along came Tokiya about to dig in with the group and show off his intellect.

"Hey, there's your man, Fuuko." Recca teased.

"You know about . . . hey! Who told you about . . .!" Fuuko asked

"Well . . ., we saw you two mushing it up earlier outside." They both teased "It's not . . ., what you think it is!" The purple haired girl snapped back.

"Oh yeah!, then why are your arms around his neck all the time?"

"That was just . . ."

"Admit it Fuuko,you know you like him." Neon said.

"Oh, all right, I like him! So are you guys happy!"

And Recca and Neon just laughed all the way to the table
 
During dinner, nobody ever saw Kaoru eat like that.

"Where does a small guy like him put all of that?!" Domon asked as kept on eating.

"Maybe he hasn't eaten anything since you two kids were chasing around town." Recca said, as they all laughed. Kaoru on the other hand was just eating and eating.
 
After dinner they all went to the living room to play some video games. As the night continued on the dumbest and the smartest members of the group were playing chess. Tokiya having no difficulty in beating Domon in chess was already winning 32 games straight, Domon on the other hand wasn't giving up until he'd win a game for Fuuko.

"C'mon Tokiya, let him win this time, so that we can all get some sleep." Recca begged.

"I was, for the past 10 games but that baka still doesn't get it yet!" Tokiya replied.
 
Fuuko, watching, but not the game, was looking deeply at Tokiya. "Oh! He's so cute!" she sighed. So didTokiya also thinking about her, about what happened before dinner . . .the kiss.
 
"HAH! I won!" Domon exclaimed. Everyone cheered too, because they can now get some sleep.

There were four rooms in Mikagami's residence.Tokiya slept in his own room, while Recca slept on the floor in his sleeping bag. Kaoru and Domon slept in the guestroom, while all girls just slept in the AV room. In the middle of the night, Tokiya woke up. He really felt the craving for some food this night. So he got up and walked quietly downstairs.

When he got near the counter, "Fuuko? Is that you?"

"Tokiya? Yes it's me."

"So Fuuko what brings you down here?" Tokiya asked.

"Well, I just couldn't hold on , much longer on the food." She said with a smile.
 
"Me too, specially if there's rice and other stuff."Tokiya replied.
 
So they both sat on the counter, where they caught the other one glancing at the other while eating. They were talking all night, about the things they like, the gang, fighting, and food

"Fuuko, we have some things in common."

"You're right, we do." Fuuko replied.

Both just stared at each other,admiring the face of the other, the moonlight shone on Tokiya like, showing Fuuko the right path in helping her heart decide.
 
"Tokiya, I wanted to thank you for remembering by birthday, it . . .really meant a lot to me."

"That's nothing Fuuko, anybody could've given you a party."

"But it really brightened up my day, and besides you were the one who thought about it."

Then Tokiya took something from his pocket, "Fuuko, uh . . . this is all I can give to you for now, I hope you like it...happy birthday."

As Fuuko opened the box, it revealed a beautiful gold necklace with a diamond pendant on the chain.

"Thanks Tokiya, oh, I do love it, thank you for everything." As she jumped on Tokiya and kissed him passionately on the lips.

Tokiya, who was surprised at first, returned the kiss fully and wrapped his arms around her. They broke of the kiss when they were out of breath, sitting on the couch, "Tokiya, I've always loved you,please don't feel bad about it."

"It's okay Fuuko, I love you too, always." Fuuko was really surprised, as if they were meant for each other.

"Tokiya."

"What is it?" he replied.

"Why are you turning soft?"

As Fuuko was saying those words, Tokiya answered her, as they felt each others warmth, love and affection on throughout the night.

She wrapped her arms around him while they sat on the sofa.

"Fuuko, I love you." Tokiya whispered.

"I love you too." She replied, as they both fell asleep, still in each others arms.

Morning came.

"Shh! Let's not wake the two love birds!" Neon whispered.

"This is gonna be good!" Recca said.

As the whole group except for Fuuko and Tokiya, sat in the living room as they all watched the two.

Tokiya began to wakeup and still kept his arms around his new girlfriend, "Fuuko, wake up, its already morning." as he gave a quick peck on Fuuko's tender lips.

"Unhh, Tokiya?"
As both were already wide awake, they found themselves being watched by the whole group. "What are you guys looking at?!" Fuuko shouted.

"So . . ., what were you to doing here last night huh?" Neon asked with a big grin.

"Don't tell me you already had you-know-what with her, Tokiya?!" Recca teased.

"Nothing, really." said Fuuko with a smile.

"Shuttup baka" as Tokiya threw a pillow at Recca.

"Pillow fight!!!" Everyone shouted. Then pillows began flying here and there, hitting everything and everyone.

Quickly as it began, it ended shortly. Everyone helped in cleaning up, the rooms, the tables
the whole house looked a lot better than before.
 
"So Tokiya, see you tommorrow." as Recca and the group left him and got back on their separate lives. Except for Fuuko who stayed for a few minutes.

"Tokiya, I wanted to thank you again for everything specially your love." As she drew closer, and wrapped her arms around Tokiya's neck and locked her lips onto his.

As they parted, "No, Fuuko, thank you." said Tokiya, then pulling Fuuko by the shoulders and once again trapping her in a hug and puling her into a deep kiss, Fuuko and Tokiya both felt the love they never had.

"Its a date!" Fuuko whispered, while in Tokiya's arms, and hugged him, like never wanting to let go.

Tokiya stroking her hair began to wonder what they could do the next day. As Fuuko waved good bye, hopping onto the gate and went home.
