The Stolen Mind
By Mokuren Grade 6

There
rips the spinal column,
Oh,
lovely is the wake,
They
do lie rather solemn ,
With
the pretty autumn rake
Lodged
right into their backs.
Hey,
let’s put them all on racks!
Let’s
be merry!
Hm,
what else is necessary?
Do come
away, say, where is my mind?
In the
waters or was it the wild?
Don’t,
let’s tarry, bloody bad, bloody bad,
For
I so love to hear a world weeping,
More
than you can understand.
Where
was my last playmate
Had
I hidden them much too well?
What
‘twill I do, it’s rather late
Oh,
damn it all to hell!
I’ll
weave some bright new nooses,
Start
mixing herbs and poisoned juices
Boy,
these things do nicely sell.
Here
and there I reap
And
chase with frothing kisser,
I take
them in a whisper,
Quite
all a graceful feat.
Do come
away, say, where is my mind?
In the
waters or was it the wild?
Don’t,
let’s tarry, bloody bad, bloody bad,
For
I so love to hear a world weeping,
More
than you can understand.
When
the silly fools wander
From
the safety of their beds,
Far
off in the blue yonder
A place
untouched by even feds.
I seek
my darlings out,
And
screaming at their heels,
Give
them nightmares, I hear pleas;
O’er
we toss in friendly bout,
‘Till
useless deals
Altogether
begin to cease.
Do come
away, say, where is my mind?
In the
waters or was it the wild?
Don’t,
let’s tarry, bloody bad, bloody bad
For
I so love to hear a world weeping,
More
than you can understand.
Come
hither to my domain,
All
googly-eyed;
There
shall you remain
Right
here, on my bedside.
Light
up the funeral pyre,
Sing
a hymn for eternal rest,
No,
no, it shan’t be dire,
For
I shall certainly do the best.
Do come
away, say, where is my mind?
In the
waters or was it the wild?
Don’t,
let’s tarry, bloody bad, bloody bad,
Whee!
A world so full of weeping,
Oh,
yeah, like I would understand.
