Chapter 5
"We are meant to be..."

Tokiya's heart boiled with overwhelming emotions as he sprinted towards Fuuko's dressing room. He knew what his heart was telling him. He knew why his soul warmed up when Fuuko sang that song. For he, knew the man mentioned in the song was him. And the other one was... He grinned slightly.

He knew deep bottom of his heart.

He was going to tell the truth that laid buried in his heart. He smiled delightfully to himself. Finally... he could have the courage to tell Fuuko... the real emotion that he was concealing.

----

Fuuko hummed the melody she had just performed as she tidied her white blouse infront of the plane mirror. Her face was wiped clean of makeup, but her face shone with pureness with the dim lights. She sighed grimly as she traced herself on the mirror with her tender fingers.

If only i could be the one for him... if only i'll be the one who will enter his soul... and weave gently, bringing happiness and bountiful love...

Fuuko turned away from the mirror, with her tears glistening brightly with the soft lights of the small room.
Stop deluding yourself, Kirisawa... You and him can never be together. Besides... Hikaru is perfect. Demure, gentle and kind... who are you? Kirisawa? You cannot be compared to the dove.

Fuuko couldn't brace the emotional turmoil anymore. She sobbed silently, letting the tears flow gently down her face.

"Fuuko? May i come in? I want to tell you something."

Mikagami? The overwhelmed girl thought. Brushing away her tears, she inhaled the air deeply, forced a smile and opened the door. Tokiya stood at the door, with his eyes showing tranquility and peacefulness, with a beautiful smile on his handsome face. Fuuko gestured him in.

"What now?" Fuuko said good-naturedly, as she sat down on the metal chair, with her hands on her knees.

Tokiya's eyes scanned on her. Even though she looked plain in the white blouse and dark green bermudas, he felt Fuuko was still as ravishing as before.

"You sang well." Tokiya commented with a sure smile, as he pulled his chair nearer to her. Fuuko grinned and waved her hand.

"Of course... of course!" Fuuko laughed. Then, a thought raced into her mind.

"You didn't came all the way here just to tell me this, isn't, fridge boy? Stop beating round the bush. Just shoot. I'm listening."

"The song... I understood the meaning. And, i knew this song represents whom..." He paused, and tried to see any reaction from Fuuko. He was glad to see a tinge of red racing through her cheeks.

"Really?" Fuuko muttered, as she crossed her legs, trying to surpass any emotion.

"I know the 'you', that is the boy, refers to me. And the girl is..." Tokiya gulped and tried to swallow the painful lunp in his throat. Before he could talk, Fuuko cut his sentence curtly.

"Its Hikaru."

Tokiya's eyes dilated into large saucers. The warm sensation deep within had shattered into tiny fragments. His downcast eyes met her... was it his wrong perception?? Her eyes were totally devoid of the usual sparkle
of happiness. It was now... glacial and icy.

"Mikagami, the song indeed refered to you and Hikaru. I'm just singing her viewpoint."

Tokiya just stared at her in silence. Fuuko broke a small smile as she stood up, with her slender back facing away from the sullen Ensui wielder.

"The song portrayed you two guys real well eh? I thought so too. I know Hikaru really loves you... so i..."

"What do you know?"

With that cold, icy reply, Tokiya suddenly felt his heart constricted and small again. Fuuko spun back, with a confused expression on her face.

"What do i know? What do you mean? I know everything! Hikaru is totally devoted to you! I know she's the one that can unlock the heavy chains you have carried through many years. She's the..."

"CRASH!"

She stopped in midsentence as Tokiya sprang up from his seat forcefully, causing the metal chair to fall onto the ground. His face was wiped clean of emotions, but his marine eyes revealed fury and frustration.

"You thought you know everything, Kirisawa. You thought you understand my feelings. Well, let me tell you. You don't know anything at all! You don't understand me at all!" Tokiya bellowed, clenching his fists tightly. Fuuko frowned.

"What do you mean? Ain't i correct? Hikaru is the one..."

"She isn't!" Tokiya yelled on top of his lungs, earning a startled expression from the girl.

"What's wrong with you..." Fuuko screeched, but stopped as Tokiya stepped forward.

Panting heavily, Tokiya closed his eyes and inched closer to her. His fury eyes eased a little, as they gazed onto hers. Fuuko was dumbstruck for words. Unable to bear the intensifying glare of his, she turned her head away. Tokiya placed his long fingers onto her face, and careful guided her face back towards him.

"Fuuko... stop lying to yourself. To your heart. To me." Tokiya's eyes now were full of sorrow and agony as his hands placed onto Fuuko's slender shoulders. She gasped.

"Mikagami?"

Tokiya hushed her as he placed his fingers tenderly onto her lips.

"Stop deceiving to your heart. I've stop betraying mine. I've understood who i really love, who i really want. Have you?"

Fuuko's world stopped. His words struck deep into her soul. For once... she listened to herself. The agony, pain, the anguish lunged out within her. The words she had concealed deep inside. Her eyes locked into his. =
His marine eyes showed no concealment of love, gentleness and sincerity.

"I love you, Fuuko."

Her world suddenly stopped spinning. Tears trickled down uncontrollably as she began to breathe unevenly.

No... i couldn't be... Fuuko scolded herself silently as she tried to brace the tears from flowing down from her cheeks. Trembling fingers suddenly were on her cheeks, as the lines of tears were brushed away with a gentle movement of his fingers. Tokiya's face were very close with hers, so close that she could feel his slow breathing. She felt blood within her boiling away with happiness as his words slowly stroked her heart. She broke into a smile, with tears still slowly streaking down her cheeks and down his tingling fingers.

"Mikagami..."

She whispered as she closed her eyes. Tokiya, too, closed his eyes, with his hands pressing delicatly on her cheeks, as slowly, he inched closer towards her shivering face. Closer and closer they had became, as their
lips started to part slightly...

"Mikagami-kun? Fuuko? What are you two doing?"

Fuuko and Mikagami's eyes shot open immediately as the familiar voice shot from the room. Hikaru, with her hands on her chest, with her carmine eyes widened with bewilderment. Fuuko gasped and pushed Tokiya away, and broke into an embarrassed laughter, as she placed her hands behind her bobbing head. Tokiya, however, held an upset expression, and stood there with a dour face.

Why Fuuko? Why wouldn't you heed the words of the inner you?

"Eh... Hikaru?? There is absolutely nothing between me and Ice man. He was just... removing some makeup on my face. Seriously!" Fuuko chortled guilelessly, and stressed her last word, seeing the girl wearing an elegant red dress frowning suspiciously.

"Hmm.... thought so!" Hikaru's grim expression broke with a benign smile.

"How did you know i was here?" Tokiya said flatly, with his eyes fixing squarely on her. Hikaru's grin eased. She explained she was worried about him as he was taken too long, therefore she decided to search for him. With help from some people who saw him, she ventured her way towards Fuuko's dressing room.

Fuuko smirked and walked towards her, patting on her shoulders heavily.

"Well, that's about it. My face is clean now, so i better get going. See ya all!" She finished off as she pushed Hikaru playfully onto Tokiya, and sprinted off, with her gleeful laughter falling fainter and fainter.

Hikaru tilted her head towards Tokiya, greeting him with a warm smile. However, Tokiya only returned her with an icy glare.

"Let's go home, shall we? It's really late."

Tokiya barely nodded and stuffed his pale hands into his pockets, and walked out of the sliding door.

Once outside, Hikaru chattered happily away, earning nothing but occasional 'hums' and 'ahs' from the sullen figure. Tokiya's face was frigid, with his jaw tightened. He held a grim and icy face throughout, but he knew it was just a mask to conceal his true feelings. Feelings of anguish, agony filled his heart, with melancholy lingering round him. With a sidelong glance, he set his eyes on the girl that looked a lot like his sister.

Indeed, Hikaru looked and held a character that matched with his late sister perfectly. And, a sister he yearned for was achieved.

And that's why, I've treated Hikaru as a substitute of the dear sister of mine. No wonder, my heart longed for someone else, as she was not a substitute of her. Fuuko... was the only one that could never replace no
other. I've deceived my heart long enough... and i want to put a stop of all these. Tokiya sighed heavily as he reached Hikaru's doorstep.

"Goodnight, Mikagami-kun." Hikaru smiled warmly. The man with silky moss green hair just waved his hand and spun around abruptly, and walked away into the dark corridors. Unknown to the pensive thinker, Hikaru was still at her spot, with her scarlet eyes fixing onto him. She frowned, with her fine eyebrows meeting each other. With a rejected sigh, she fumbled the silver keys into the doorknob, and the plain yellow door creaked open steadily. As she entered her apartment, she closed her eyes and slumped herself into her sofa in pitch darkness.

I feel evil... i feel rotten. But... i have to do this. Sorry Fuuko...my dear friend... guess i have to talk to you tomorrow.

----

The dismissal bell rang. Tables and chairs creaked all in unison as students sprang up, and in files, they charged towards the exit. Fuuko, however, remained in her seat, pensive in thought.

'Stop lying to yourself. To your heart. To me.'

Dammit! Why am i thinking of all these? Fuuko scolded herself. She reached for her stationary and files cluttered on her table and slid them into her brown leather bag. But Tokiya's confession on the night
previously refused to go away.

'Stop deceiving to your heart. I've stop betraying mine. I've understood who i really love, who i really want. Have you?'

No...

'I love you, Fuuko'

"Fuuko?"

A crystalline, clear voice shot straight into Fuuko's sea of thoughts. She fluttered her marine eyes and focused back to reality. Hikaru was standing infront of her table, with a uncomfortable expression hung on
her beautiful face.

"Oh. Yes?"

Hikaru's gaze fell onto the floor, shuffling her feet with much discomfort. With an unstead voice, she said,

"I... i want to talk to you."

Fuuko's eyes lit up with puzzlement. Hikaru's face inclined upwards, meeting her vivid sapphair eyes with her bright rubies.

"It's about Mikagami-kun."

----

Both of them kept silent as they strolled into the botanical garden in the school compound. They sat on a wooden bench, with their gazes falling onto the lush greenery. An air of silence fell onto them.

"Okay. Hikaru. You can start."

Hikaru breathed in deeply, as she shifted her position towards the lean girl.

"Fuuko... i know last night... you were lying." She paused and glanced at her. Fuuko held no emotion and stared at the flora and fauna. Her rubies returned back to the dusty ground.

"I... i... i love Mikagami-kun alot. I really do. And... i couldn't bear to see... well... you can say i'm rather covetous and selfish... but i..."

"I understand, Hikaru."

Fuuko's words interrupted Hiakru's stammering conversation. Widened eyes met her placid ones. With a small smile, Fuuko continued.

"I know what to do, Hikaru. Don't you worry. I'll make sure Fuuko Kirisawa will disappear in his mind."

The violet haired girl said plainly as she stood up from her seat, dusting off the dust on her denim shorts. With a smirk, she added,

"I have to go now. Excuse me."

Hikaru nodded blankly, totally taken aback by Fuuko's words. She felt guilty within. But she knew, love is a selfish game. She sighed, and continued to gaze the vegetation, as Fuuko's figure became smaller and smaller from her view.

----

Tokiya was disoriented with Fuuko's sudden change of behavior. Suddenly, her mirthful smile had disappeared, revealing a gloomy cheerless face with devoid of interest and laughter from her brilliant eyes. But what Tokiya found upsetting was Fuuko was avoiding him whenever they met. Sometimes, he tried to wait for her at their familiar bench, but in vain. He attempted to page her through her pager, but never would she return his call. Whenever he tried to talk to her as they met in the school compound, Fuuko would increase her stride, and briskly walked away, ignoring his requests. No matter who loud he would call, Fuuko never stop, let alone turn back and reply his urging words. His heart never felt so heavy and downcast before.

Fuuko... what's wrong?

----

Days later, Fuuko was called into the principal's office. After Mr. Kinhara, a stout man with patches of grey hair on his oval head, with an ebony glasses resting on the bridge of his snub nose, he broke the news to her, Fuuko felt her world once again was shattered as she widened her eyes much in horror.

"You mean i'm leaving?"

"Yes, Miss Kirisawa. Your mother wanted to tell you that she bringing you along to migrate into Canada due to her business purposes. You have been posted to the local university at that place, with the same subject
you are taking right now." Mr. Kinhara continued with his gruff voice, as he shifted his oversized black glasses. Fuuko frowned as stared at the polished floor in his office. She shuffled her orange bubble shoes.

"When am i leaving?"

The chubby man with a thin moustache sighed sadly.

"Tomorrow. Early in the morning. You'll meet your mother in the Tokyo International Airport at 7 am. The plane will leave at about noon."

Fuuko closed her eyes with ultimate sadness. Delicate tears trickled down softly down her smooth cheeks.

7 am. That's when lectures, school start. 12 pm... That's the dismissal time. Looks like i should not tell him after all...

The huge man frowned with concern.

"Kirisawa?"

Fuuko quickly wiped her tears away and revealed a smile, saying that she was okay. Thanking her principal for telling her the matter, she bowed, and exited out from the office.

Once she was outside, she walked back slowly to her class, with tears streaking down, refusing to stop no matter how much she tried. Her mind was confused and her emotions were disarrayed and unstable.

'I love you, Fuuko'

Tokiya's voice rang into her mind again. Fuuko closed her eyes gradually at a slow pace, with her lips curled downwards with sorrow. A cold realization had dawned into her as she began to sob between tears with much anguish.

We are never meant to be together, Mikagami. No matter how hard we may try, the obstacles are just to hard to conquer. We are just not fated to be...

----

At that very night, Fuuko felt very miserable. Now she knew how much Tokiya worth in her heart. She felt empty and dispirited. She wanted to cry, but she remained strong, and swallowed her tears into her heart, as each time she ignored Tokiya's advances. With his familiar, mellow voice reaching out for her, she wanted to run towards him, embrace him tightly and confess his love, but with each thought of these, she would banish them immediately, telling herself it was impossible for them to be together.

Now, Fuuko would be leaving for Canada, and who knows when would she meet Tokiya again. A decade or two, perhaps?

That very night was no different from others. She weeped silently in bed, pouring her innermost feelings out.

"I love you too... Mikagami... but we are not meant to be..."

Meanwhile, in Tokiya's apartment, Tokiya stared at the dark, black skies, just like every night, letting the cold breeze flit his fine hair about. As each night passed, he felt his heart shattering deeper into tinier fragments, as he recollected Fuuko's icy behavior towards him. He would sigh with much melancholy, and soon suffered from insomnia with the often thoughts of her.

Somehow, he had a hunch that Hikaru had did something to contribute into this mess. He made up his mind. He would confront her tomorrow.

----

The long awaited bell had finally rung. Tokiya hastily marched briskly out from his Biotechnological Lecture Room and dashed into the Meteorology Lecture Room, which was on the third level. Though he was walking, he was unconscious on the reality around him, as he was too engrossed in his thoughts. He was thinking on how to break the news to Hikaru, about his genuine feelings deep bottom. He felt remorseful for breaking her heart, but seeing Fuuko shunning him everyday made him even more miserable and doleful.

"Mikagami-kun?"

Tokiya snapped back to reality as he stopped and turned back, where the voice came from. It was Hikaru, with her cheery face greeting him with a bright smile. She ran towards him, with her hair glistened with the afternoon rays of the sun, and waved gently with the sudden breeze. Tokiya folded his arms and said almost softly,

"I need to talk to you. Its urgent."

Hikaru glanced back and forth. The corridors were now silent and were free from any other students. Hikaru grinned and gestured him to go on. Tokiya sighed with forlorn and blurted out,

"We can't go on."

Silence reigned between them momentarily. Hikaru's face suddenly became very pale and hard. She broke a disbelieve smile, with her eyes fixing squarely at the pony-tailed man.

"W...What do you mean?"

Tokiya frowned and closed his eyes, and continued coldly,

"Hikaru, i searched my soul. My heart. My mind."

He paused and glanced at the overwhelmed girl. She kept silent and gave no sound. Tokiya boldly resumed his harsh words.

"I've figured it out. I've only substituted you as my late sister. I've only loved you as a sibling. I've never truly loved you... as a boyfriend should be."

"NO! That isn't true!" Hikaru croaked, with tears pouring down from her face. However, Tokiya remained unshaken, and probed on.

"I thought i loved you. I really assumed i did. But i was wrong. For the one i utterly love is only Fuuko."

Hikaru was shaking her head furiously. Her body was weak and trembling with agony, as her heart pained from his thorn-like words. Tokiya swallowed the painful lump in his throat. He felt criminal for breaking her heart. But he did it to prevent all the three hearts being shattered. He shuffled his feet and shoved his hands into his pockets.

"This is all i have to tell you. Good bye, Sadamoto-chan."

He turned his lean body and walked away. Though he felt bad on splintering her fragile heart, but he felt relieved. The whole mess would be over.

"Mikagami-kun."

Hikaru's raspy voice called out. Her tears were dried up and a small smile was seen. Tokiya was speechless.

"I'm honored to have your place as a sister. May i have you as  a God-Brother, then?" Tokiya couldn't help but smile serenely, and nodded his head.

"And.. yah. Good luck with Fuuko-san!"

Hikaru smiled, and walked in the opposite direction of his. Toikya heaved a sigh of relief.

It's all over... now to find Fuuko.

"BEEP BEEP BEEP!"

His dark Prussian blue pager in his pocket rang. With a dubious gaze, he took the small rectangular machine, and pressed the buttons. It was a message.

"From Fuuko?" He muttered. He was delighted to know Fuuko was responding to him again. But as the tall man read the message, his eye widened with terror and panic. The message read:

Dear Mikagami
I'm sorry for ignoring, shunning you for the past few days. Believe me, it splinters my heart too. I just wanted to tell you... please find yourself a better girl. A girl who deserves you better. Forget about me. Delete me in your mind... because, i'm about to board a plane flight to Canada now. I'll be moving to that area, and may never come back.

Take care, my dear Mikagami. I will miss you.
Fuuko

Tokiya's legs suddenly felt wobbly and weak. He slumped down onto the polished floor, with his pager falling onto the ground. His mind was disarrayed with emotions.

What am i doing? I must stop her!

Tokiya grabbed his pager and sprang up, dashing as fast as a rocket towards the school gates, and hailed a cab.

"Tokyo International Airport. Step on it!" Tokiya bellowed, as he leaned back onto the soft, leather seats. He did not know why did he say that particular airport. There were thousands of airports in Japan.

But he felt it. His inner most feelings told him that was the airport. For once, he trusted his instincts.

He gazed into the mirror and caught his reflection. He snorted. His face had went pale with beads of sweat trickling down from the sides of his head. His hair was untidy and messy, due to the great speed he had ran just now. But he couldn't be bothered. His mind was fully occupied by the girl he loved deeply. The car sped away speedily on the highway towards the airport. With each minute passed, Tokiya's anxiousness increased dramatically.

Fuuko... you must wait for me...

----

Fuuko stopped and glanced around. The airport was packed with a sea of people, with their constant movement moving in like tides. She gripped tighter on the plastic handle of her bulging maroon travel bag. She bit her lower lip and looked hopelessly around.

"Fuuko dear? What are you doing? Take your passport out!"

Fuuko's eyes shifted back onto her mother. Her mother was wearing an elegant suit with faint makeup on her wrinkled face. Fuuko nodded slowly as she reached for her passport. The service-person chopped her passport and her airticket. Politely, she gave it back to the somber girl. Mrs. Kirisawa noticed the great change in her daughter.

"Are you alright? Fuuko?"

Fuuko fixed a smile that lifted up her cheeks. She nodded her head and wrap her hands into hers.

"I'm alright, mama."

"Attention. Final call to passengers of flight 6081X. Please make your way to the departure hall now. Thank you."

Mrs. Kirisawa smirked and patted on her daughter.

"Let's get going, shall we?"

----

Tokiya's heavy shoes clobbered heavily onto the polished marble floors of the airport. He strained his neck above the crowd and tried to spot for Fuuko. Tokiya's heart pranced with anxiousness as he raked across
the wide area.

"Fuuko... where are you?!" Tokiya muttered under his uneven breath.

"Final call to the passengers of 6081X. Please proceed to the departure hall."

"Dammit! Fuuko! Where are you??" Tokiya's voice was shaky with nervousness. Suddenly, the voice in his heart spoke again.

'Hurry to the departure hall. She's leaving soon'

"What?" Tokiya spat, and shook his head. He breathed in deeply and charged his way towards the departure hall.

He decided to hear his heart once more.

----

'Wait!'

Fuuko halted abruptly on the spot. She glanced through the glass panels. The other side was the crowd in the airport, and near the entrance of the hall were stout security guards. Fuuko sighed dejectedly and spun back towards her mother.

He wouldn't be here... i didn't even tell him the airport i'll be leaving at...

"Hey kid! What do think you are doing? This is restricted zone!! Kid?!!" A sudden commotion rang in the silent departure hall.

"Fuuko!! Stop!! Let go of me, you buffoons!! FUUKO!!"

Fuuko's azure eyes widened in bewilderment. The familiar voice dawned into her... it couldn't be... she thought. She spun her head rapidly, with her fine violet hair following her.

The lanky figure with unkempt silvery blue hair struggling between the security guards looked anxiously at her. He gritted his teeth and reached his hands out.

"FUUKO!!"

"Mikagami..." Fuuko felt hot tears brimming at the edge of her eyes. She wanted to rush into his arms... oh how she wanted...

But she banished the fantasies away. She closed her eyes and hurried down with her mother, who looked curiously at the both of them. The scene made by Tokiya earned alot of curious glares from the people in =
the hall. Tokiya, seeing her turning her back, shouted with more urgency. He felt wetness on his cheeks.

"Fuuko!! Please don't go! I can't live without you... please Fuuko... come back!!"

Fuuko's heart ached terribly. Still, she walked on, ignoring the piteous cries from her beloved. Tokiya's eyes widened and showed utmost anguish as he cried out, with tears flowing down unrestainly. He tried to break off from the security guards as they grabbed hold of his arms and legs. With a sidelong glance from her back, she could see him outstretching his trembling hands and called out in a shivering voice,

"Fuuko! Please don't leave me!! I..."

"Stop kid!! Or else... WHAP!!"

A forceful punch landed on his cheeks, causing some blood to spurt out from his torn lips. Tokiya stumbled onto the floor tasting blood in his mouth.

"MIKAGAMI!! Are you alright?" Fuuko's horrified voice rang, with her face contorted in fear, as she sprinted to his side, brushing the security guards away. She pulled the fallen Tokiya up and examined his lips. It was bleeding profusely. She squinted her eyes with sadness as she touched gingerly at his wound. Tokiya, however, as if did not feel a thing, clutched her frozen hands tightly, with his blue eyes glancing at her.

"Don't leave me... Fuuko... please..." Tokiya implored, with tears trickling down his cheeks as he placed his shivering hands onto her face.

Fuuko, unable to harden her feelings, broke into tears as she embraced him tightly, as Tokiya kissed her hair.

"Mikagami... i... i can't..." Fuuko stammered as tears flowed down like ever-flowing rivers. Tokiya shook his head gently pulled back from the embrace, and looked deeply into her marine eyes.

"Don't go, Fuuko. Don't leave me alone in this dark world..."

"But i..."

"Enough!"

The trembling girl looked back and faced her mother. Mrs. Kirisawa wore a grim expression on her face.

"Mama..." Fuuko choked between her tears. Mrs. Kirisawa stopped her as she said firmly,

"Fuuko, it's very unlike of you not to tell me your real descision. From this point of view, your heart yearns to stay here, isn't it?"

Fuuko's gaze strayed away from her mother and gazed at Tokiya peacefully, and nodded her head slowly.

"You can stay, Fuuko. As long this gentleman offers to take care of you, you can stay here in Japan." Her statement earned dilated cobalt eyes from the duo. She chuckled softly. Tokiya's azure eyes lit up with excitement as his lips curled upwards. Fuuko's mouth fell in disbelief.

"Mama?"

"Don't worry about me. I'll contact you soon enough. I'll try to make my way back here... now, Mikagami-kun, i shall hand the responsibility of my daughter to you. Is that fine?" Mrs. Kirisawa laughed slightly as Tokiya nodded his head eagerly, with a cheerful smile forming between his lips.

"I must get going. Sayonara!" She finished her sentence with another gay smile, and walked into the passageway leading to the plane.

Their cobalt eyes fixed on the petite figure until it was out of sight. At that very instant, Fuuko rushed into his broad chest, with tears streaking down her delicate face. The young male adult, too, cried softly, with his hands on her slender back. Soon, both of the stood up slowly, and exited the departure hall, with their bodies pressed on each other. Silence fell onto them as they made their way out of the airport.

Once outside the airport, Tokiya spun Fuuko infront of him and locked his gaze onto her. Fuuko smiled shyly, with his hands placed onto his firm chest.

"You scared the daylights out of me, Kirisawa." Tokiya said in a firm but concerned voice.

Fuuko sighed and brushed the stray strands of hair from his face.

"I'm sorry, Mikagami..."

Tokiya smiled warmly and kissed her hand, which was on his smooth face. Fuuko, surprised at his sudden act, recoiled her hand slightly. However, Tokiya slided his hands onto her back, gently pushing her forward to him.

"I love you, Fuuko... and it will always be..." He said, as his head inched closer to her trembling face, with his fingers tracing her lips. Fuuko's face approached nearer, and as she closed her eyes, she whispered with a small giggle,

"I love you too, Ice man."

And thus, their lips touched, and soon becoming deeper, with a common thought burning inside their hearts and minds. The wind swirled, letting their fine, silky hair dancing in the air.

They would be together... forever. With that song gently wove in their mind, the melody rang softly in their heads as they walked back, hand in hand.

Just reach me out then
