Michiru Kaioh was happily walking with her boyfriend, Mark Takameda, by the lake. It was a beautiful evening as the stars add a nice glow to the brightness of the full moon reflected on the lake’s surface. The perfect date.
Michiru have always loved dates by the lake under the stars. It was romantic and it gave her a peaceful feeling she may never have in school. Not that she wasn’t popular or anything but… they always make a fuss about her relationship with Haruka. They are only best friends but no one can blame her or Haruka if they are really close. That’s what friends are for.
She never thought she could find a man who was just like herself. No, he’s not a sailor scout of any kind,he just happens to have special powers that Michiru have always sensed but… he never told her.
They could hear the whispers of the wind, it is so beautiful! Everything was going perfectly as expected, until… he came.
He was a man probably two years older than her. He wears a mask, a red cloak and gold bangles. He was walking towards them, and Michiru felt that her perfect world would soon crumble, that… that, this may be her last day and last time to ever hold her Mark. She felt… Mark will die.
A blue flame came out of the man’s left hand and he started to attack them. Michiru was about to change into sailor soldier form when Mark pushed her away so whatever happens to him… she wouldn’t get hurt. He knows the flame was directed at him, but a man like that guy was… he knows it , he can feel it… is merciless. He will kill at any cost.
Michiru fell down in the lake and the last thing she saw was her one love burning to death and the man laughing like a maniac. (*he is a maniac*) A scream exploded in her heart and she quickly, out of reflexes (* hey Michiru was the Queen of the Sea and she is a great swimmer…), tried to pull herself up in an attempt to save him-or die with him.
She rushed to his side crying out in anguish and in pain. “ Mark, don’t die, don’t leave me. Please I love you so much.” She tried hard to get those words out. She doesn’t have to deny it-he will die. Whether she likes it or not, he will soon die.
“Michiru, promise… me this… if you really… do love me…don’t ever… g-go…b-back… for… r-revenge. Don’t… waste your life…thinking… o-on how to get… back…t-to that… p-person. This…was… my des-ti-ny…” and he breathed his last.
“NNOOO……..”
Two years later…
Michiru woke up with a start. ‘the same nightmare… it has been two years…’ she can’t help it but tears started falling down her eyes. ‘2 years since Mark’s death. I’ve been plagued with the same nightmares every night, since he died! Mark, why do you have to die… why?’ Michiru can not stop her tears. How could she? ‘You died because of him, mark… because of him I’m in a lot of pain. My friends are all growing up… even Haruka is turning in to a girl unlike before she always wore her men’s clothes now… Mark, you promised me we would be going to the same university together… you promised…’
Michiru grabbed
her teddy bear and threw it at the door.
Haruka who
was passing by heard it and knocked. “Who is it?” came the soft reply.
“ It’s only me Mich, you, OK?” Haruka went in and sat beside her best friend. ‘she’s probably having one of those nightmare’s again’
“ What’s the problem? You know you can tell me, right? So, what is it?”
“Nothing. Another night mare. I’ve been plagued with it for two whole years! Everyday, ever since he died…” Michiru started to break down.
Seiya who was also passing by Michiru’s room to go down stairs to the kitchen, saw her crying and went in to calm her down. “ Why can’t I just forget him? I mean every night in my dreams at the end he always says something like you must forget me… you must be happy again… I want to see you happy again… with him what’s the point of that? And who is HIM? Who is him suppose to be? I never had a crush on anyone after him, never dated anyone after him… who is HIM?! How can I forget Mark? He… I… I loved him so much!”
Yaten walked in and said in her usual mean tone, “Michiru don’t tell me you are in love with a dead person? Face reality Mich. MARK IS DEAD!… you could only keep a piece of your heart dedicated to him, nothing more nothing less. He’s dead, get over it… OWWWW! Taiki what did you do that for?!”
Taiki looked at Yaten then to Michiru. “ Don’t mind her! She is just a bit b*tchy today, as usual… but anyway, she’s right. You have to move on. You could only keep a lil place in your heart for him. Everybody has to move on and grow up.”
“Ya like Haruka!” Yaten butts in.
Michiru looked up and said in between sniffles. “ what about Haruka?”
Haruka was
already giving signs for Yaten to shut up but she just smiled and continued
on.
“Well… I was
at her racing tournament last night, right? *saw lots of cute guys ^_^’*
so when it was done, I was like there gonna go to her change room, talk
to her about winning the tournament, again, you must have seen her race!
She was so… whatever! Anyway, so I went to her change room and guess who
was there?”
“Who?” one
word. One question shot up from the tongues of yaten’s audience.
“This little
I’m-innocent-don’t-touch-me-I’m-a-man girl was actually flirting with my
racer crush! AAARRRGGGHHHH!”
“Who is you racer crush, yaten?” Seiya asked while thinking who could that racer crush be from Yaten’s long list of crushes.
Yaten looked at Seiya in disbelief “OK, OK, where have you been seiya?! We practically live in the same room, I always tell you my secrets since you’re my sis… where have you been?! Well, he is that guy who we saw during Haruka’s first racing competition this season. Don’t you remember that hotshot-super-rich guy from America? Haruka practically dragged me by the hair just to see her car and he was there standing with his friends, whatever! HELLO!” Michiru was already giggling at yaten.
“WHAT?! Anyway, so haruka was practically laughing at his jokes… the ladylike laugh, OK? Racer, ladylike laugh… do you see any connections? Well, he saw me waiting at the door, oh yeah… they were holding hands”
Everyone turned
to Haruka “ooooohhhhhhh…”
“THAT’S IT
WITH YOUR BIG MOUTH YAT-“ Taiki held Haruka while they sat down and listened
to what happened… * the other night*
“So he saw me and said something like… your friend is here blah blah and they stared at each others eyes and then…”
Taiki’s eyes was growing, Seiya was leaning forward and Michiru was crawling on her bedcovers to get nearer and Haruka was practically going crazy telling Yaten to shut up. “THEN??!!”
“Well, he kissed her on her cheek, said good night then, that’s it”
Everybody fell off the bed in disappointment. “Eh? Don’t you call that an exciting chapter in Haruka Tenoh’s life?”
“You mean there was no lip-locking of any kind?” Michiru suddenly blurted out.
“Hello! We are talking about your problem here Kaioh-lady!” Haruka desperately wants the subject to be changed.
“ Nope no lip locking of any kind, what so ever. Why do you ask me this stuff?! That guy is my crush you are hurting my feelings! Who would expect Haruka Tanoh to even like Robert Maxwell? Oh yeah, remember that computer junkie from my school? Well he kinda changed his life style and asked me out to the NO RULES concert tour of Creed, Sugar Ray… y’know the normal bands… don’t worry BSB ( Backstreet boys) is not gonna be there! Woohoo!… aaahhh, he knows I wanted to got to that concert, isn’t he sweet?” Stars can be seen from yaten’s eyes.
“ You call that sweet? I say that is a desperate attempt to make you go out with him since you don’t like computer junkies! Besides, if he wouldn’t change lifestyles, you would never go out with him!” Taiki said as Yaten stared knives and daggers at her.
“ Hello! If your memory is still working correctly, we were talking about Michiru’s problem.” Haruka feels like she is talking to herself ‘ gosh even Michiru forgot about her own problems…”
“No! I’d still go out with him! There’s no reason why I would not!”
“Yeah right” Taiki was peeved. “ The last time you told me about that guy you said you would go out with him if, ONLY IF, he was a popular person like you!”
“Haha! That’s where you are wrong Tykes! Computer junkies are moderately popular people and they have at least 3 hot guys in their group! My guy being the hottest of course!” That’s where World War X of Yaten and Taiki starts.
As, taiki and yaten continued on their world war, Michiru, Seiya and Haruka started talking about Michiru’s problem again.
“ You guys, you think it’s true I should forget about him? Think I should stop loving Mark?”
“ No, don’t stop loving him. Just let him go but always keep a spot for him in your heart. Go on with life… and try to find out who HIM is”
“ Okay. Uhhh ‘Ruka? Why are u all dressed up? Are you going somewhere?”
…. THE ROOM SUDDENLY TURNED QUIET…..
Haruka looked at Yaten palefaced
“Don’t tell me you are going out with Robert?!”
haruka just gave her an impish smile and went off as fast as a speeding bullet as the bell rang.
“HARUKA!!!!!!!!”
The screams of a wailing Yaten can be heard. Yes, life will surely go on
for Michiru.

Well, this
is only the Michiru part of the story since I'm not finish with the Kurei
one yet. Actually I’m done writing it but I’m not don typing it so… it
will take a long, long time before I finish all of it and it may be a long
boring one!

Michiru’s BF died when she was 16 years old and Kurei was 18 ( 2 years after Kurenai died). They met when Michiru was 18 and they are all studying in Tokyo University. They, under weird circumstances, never met each other in the University…blah blah… anyway, the next part will probably be done… (next year) a month or less than a month from now! It’s still FINALS WEEK *hate finals…esp.high school finals!
