Best of Friends (Fuuko and Raiha) By Crystallord This was purely a spur-of-the-moment idea. (A very, very cute ten year old Raiha shyly extends his hand to  the slightly younger girl in front of him. She stares at him and  slowly shakes his hand. They are in a quieter part of the woods.  Their parents are somewhere out there.) When you're the best of friends Having so much fun together (Within a few minutes Raiha and the young girl are playing like  they've known each other all their life. Even though we can't hear  them, Raiha mouths, "What's your name?" and the young girl blushes and says, "Fuuko.")  You're not even aware You're such a funny pair You're the best of friends (Raiha teaches Fuuko several names of trees and insects, and Fuuko  asks in amazement how he knows. Raiha simply shrugs, then he smiles  and impulsively grabs her hand.) Life's a happy game You could clown around forever (Several hours later, they emerge from the forest, laughing. Then  they crash into two pairs of angry looking parents.) Neither one of you sees You're natural boundaries Life's one happy game (The two pairs of parents turn to each other and start blaming the  other. One pair has identical white coats and sunglasses, and both  of them are holding cellphones. The other looks like a normal couple  living in the city. Raiha and Fuuko are staring at them, hands still  clasped, but they look unhappy.) If only the world wouldn't get in the way If only people would just let you play They say you're both being fools (From the argument, it looks like Raiha's parents are elite scientists,  and they don't want him mixing with "third-class" people, like Fuuko's  parents…in the end, Raiha's father grabs Raiha's collar, and Fuuko's  mother slaps her daughter's hand away from Raiha's…and they're off…) You're breaking all the rules They can't understand The magic of your wonderland  (Grabbing their children, they stomp away. Even though they're not  allowed to face each other, Raiha clamps his jaw shut, ignores his  mother muttering about "bad company" and wonders what's so bad about Fuuko anyway…) When you're the best of friends Sharing all that you discover (Fuuko is bored to death, unenthusiastically forming a lopsided  sandcastle in the park. Suddenly a sleek black limousine cruises  by and stops at the side of the park. The chauffeur gets out and  walks to the convenience store on the other side of the road.)  When these moments have passed   Will their friendship last Who can say, there's a way? (A figure steps out of the backseat, and Raiha, dressed in the uniform  of one of the expensive private schools (may I describe? OK, just  imagine a ten year old Raiha wearing a red velvet coat with black  pants), hops out. He quickly runs to Fuuko and gives her a quick  smile. She smiles back, and for about five minutes they busy themselves with the sand.) Oh I hope, I hope it never ends Coz you're the best of friends (Raiha quickly slips back into his limousine, and before the chauffeur  comes back, gives Fuuko one last shy smile. Then the chauffeur enters  the car again and they zoom off. And Fuuko watches the limousine  longingly…and looks down and sees a perfect sandcastle two tiny  figures standing on top of it, holding hands.)   BACK TO THE FANFIC SECTION
